Relax... we're in Mexico

It was a really last minute plan, I was called up by a friend on Thursday night to go to Sayulita over the weekend. Totally glad that I went... the town was just so nice and chilled, and the beach was very tranquil. There weren't the big hotels that attract large amounts of tourists there. I must admit though that there did seem to be a lot of Americans and Canadians roaming around the little town, but I think Sayulita is still one of those best kept secrets, with only foreigners who are adamant about getting away from the really big tourist-y places, to come and spend some time away from the ordinary. So here are some pics of a really great weekend. (Also, just wanted those in Toronto to get a glimpse of the tropical weather here in Mexico. Hey guys... is it true it's getting cold there?? Aww... too bad... :P )

Funny story: We had set our alarms to wake up to see the sunrise. Did we see it... well- we woke up minutes too late. And also the sun doesn't come up on the side of this coast. As you can see, we would not have been able to see it since it was over the mountains. Anyway, it was still a very nice morning though, taking a nice walk on the nice, tranquil beach.

(Left) Me, Tosca and Cara. (Callato!-- sorry inside joke.) Here's a pic from our patio of this really cool place that we stayed at. Just wanted to show the nice tropical scene :)
